My first post here so excuse the sensational thread title, but I hear that some top monitor manufacturers are lining their cabinet walls with 2" thick latex.
Does anyone have any idea where I can source this in the UK? Or is it better to buy something like latex roofing sealant and pour it into the cabinet. The cab is 4 cu.ft and any help would be greatly apreciated.

Sorry, Can't help you sourcing it in GB.
2" is ungodly thick for latex, I use it for monster making at halloween and it lays up about 1/32" - 1/16" per coat.
I pay ~$45 USD per gallon. At 2" thick I would have to sell my car to pay for that amount of laytex. Perhaps they were just sealing the joints with latex?
Try sourcing some mobile home roofing repair material.

Are you sure it's rubber and not Bitumen?
Now, that's much easier to come by!!

You can get it from here

You'll also need thixotropic gel too unless you have some kind of mould or it'll just run down whatever you apply it too and pool unless you use loads of thin coats.
It's really stinks too BTW.

Bitumen is probably a safer and cheaper bet. Tested and proven.
You can buy it in liquid form for roofing I think and can pour and paint it thickly onto the walls of the cabinet.
