hi there

The only experience i ever had in DIY speaker building was a pushpull, subwoofer i bought from wilmslow audio, about 16 years ago.

I am saving up currently to build these behemoths, has anyone, any experience, of how easy they are to build, and how they sound?

thanks for any info

These look like a great speaker. I too would be interested in others experiences with them.

I don't know those, but I have a lot of respect for Ivan as a designer.

Ideally you should listen to a kit speaker before committing yourself to buying it. However, with fuel prices rising all the time, and a concern for the environment, this isn't always practical.

So I will add my backing for IPL kit speakers (having built one myself) and suggest that if you Google for IPL kit speakers, you will find nothing but high praise from the guys who have built them!
