Default Interesting design

Hi,

What do you guys think about this: http://www.caninialtoparlanti.it/DNC.htm its in italian, so try google translator, which actually doesn't help much Maybe some italians can try to explain whats going on there...
It uses Monacor SPH-210 driver which looks like a good deal for the money. I'm thinking about using it in my next project.

looks interesting and probably good - does his mechanical filter over the woofer eliminate a lowpass electrical circuit? What damping material is used in the wire-mesh cage?

Yes, I think he doesn't use any electrical filter on the woofer, only on tweeter. For bass loading he uses some kind of self made passive radiator. What I completly don't understand is what kind of mods he did to the tweeter. It seems that I'm not able to copy the design so I will probably go with this one: http://freenet-homepage.de/not0815/r...ml?Boxen5.html . What do you guys think about it?
