I am currently involved in the design of a 3-way active 4th order Linkwitz Riley and its complimentary enclosure for the drivers. I have obtained 75 discrete samples (magnitude and phase) from my preliminary anechoic chamber tests. My aim is to use software to couple anechoic data along with the q parameters of the drivers to optimize the selection of crossover frequencies, and thereby derive the corresponding parameter values for the xover and enclosure.
My problem is that I am not sure exactly how to code a Matlab program that will take these plots and translate them into design parameters (crossover frequencies, resistances, capacitances, enclosure volumes, etc.). However, I have heard of people using a multi-parameter optimization program using Mattlab. Can somebody please provide me with some direction (possibly Mattlab coding) to head me in the right direction? Or, if not, can you please redirect me to another source who might be able to help? Your help would be greatly appreciated. I plan to use the following drivers: PIONEER FP66AP45-54F 2-1/2" CONE TWEETER PIONEER FB12EU14-51F 5-1/4" POLY CONE MIDRANGE PIONEER A25FU20-53F 10" WOOFER Thanks! |
