Wall mounted "fullrange" speakers

Hi,

I need help finding the right cabinet for a pair of CSS FR125S.

I would like it to be a wall mounted "flat" speaker cabinet of approx. 10 litres.
Is this possible?

If anyone has alternative driver recommendations, I would be like to hear them.

It is going to be a 2.1 installation for the living room TV arrangement.

I hope someone can help finding the right size and type of cabinet.

Please disregard any misspellings etc.

Regards

Bjoern Bach

If attachment to the side walls is possible you could go open baffle with the FR125S.
I once did the following experiment: a baffle attached to a wall, the driver almost in touch with the wall. And the 60°-setup that would be necessary anyway to listen to the fullrangers on axis proved to be sonically superior.

Better stay away from the corners, the driver will be close to the side wall, but should be at least 1.5 meters away from the rear wall.
As a rule of thumb the quarter wavelengt of the acoustic short circuit corresponds to the frequency where the rolloff starts. But the placement directly at the wall is similar to the well-known floor reinforcement and clearly enhances the bass.
I would try a 100*70cm baffle and go up if bass is not sufficient.

regards, Oliver
