K15 and its type are good players compared to reflex and many horn plus Karlson's open-end waveguide type HF as built by Walter Zintz's company made for a lively open sound. I had one or two 18" loaded K's play well.

its about all I see :^) and like to try another coupler
I have reflex and horn but these are sometimes the most fun
8.2 cubic foot for 18" 42"x22.5"x16"
8 cubic foot re-cut for 18"
In 1965 Karlson introduced a little system called "X15" - the rather drastic 43% bulk downsizing took a toll on its low end but but there was plenty of "hit" left and a slotted-tube waveguide was part of the system along with a 15" CTS woofer
