I don't know if this is the right forum to ask, since there isn't a "Room Tuning" forum, this forum is as close as it gets.
There is a buzz in the HiFi world now on these Acoustics Systems Resonators. SixMoon has been writing up review after review in the past 12 months. http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/a...esonators.html http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/f...esonators.html http://www.6moons.com/industryfeatur...esonators.html Has anyone here listened the difference that these little resonators make, in opening and closing room soundstage ? What I am seeking is a DIY method to make these as they are pretty expensive. |

I wouldn't believe this rubbish to be honest with you. Do some research into real room treatments, both adsorption and diffusion. The adsorbtion of the initial reflections should give the illusion of a larger room.

Wow ... over 50 views and only one person is courageous enough to voice their opinion !
Well most people wouldn't even shake Frank Tchang's hand a year and half ago at audio shows thinking it was snake oil. Too many people have said that they do hear a significant difference to be of any doubt. |

...and lot of people believe putting beaks on the top corners of your speakers focuses the sound to your listening position, thus making the speakers sound better...

Beaks like these!
http://www.totemacoustic.com/english...ccess_beak.htm BEAK Tuning pods that control resonances and allow for better driver integration. Results in imaging and dynamic improvement. I have heard speakers with these on... can't tell the damn difference! |
