Exclamation Visaton W130S + SC10N crossover help needed!

Hello
I'm building a 2-way floorstanders for my father.
Can someone help me with a simple but good crossover schematic?

Midbass/Bass:
Visaton W130S (8ohm)
Tweeter:
Visaton SC10N (8ohm)

Cabinets are 950x250x170 mm

Waiting your kind support!
Ronald

I'm not sure that's a good combination; the peaks in the WS130S seem too close to the crossover point to me for a 'simple' crossover.

If you can use a larger driver, I'd go for the WS17E, which has a smoother and lower response.

Oops, I didn't look closely at the tweeter response,
a crossover point of around 2Khz should be OK.

You can design the crossover yourself by using an online crossover calculator such as :

http://www.scriptsearch.com/cgi-bin/jump.cgi?ID=8420

using 10 ohms for the woofer impedance and 8 ohms for the tweeter (if you use 2KHz). I'd use a second order crossover because of the peaks. And you'll need an L Pad of around 3 dB for the tweeter.

(I still think the WS17E would be a better driver though, & should only require a first order crossover).
