Default Using SoundEasy as the crossover ongoing

(I intend moving my primary source to losssles on PC; and doing some three way speakers).

It was suggested to me by someone who's used SE to measure speakers, the interface is a very steep learning curve, SE is not meant for long term use, and in particular IIRC you can't turn off non-ASIO kmixer.
In my limited research, reports differ on the effects of kmixer being not bit-perfect, depending on sound card/ drivers: kmixer can lose 3 dB of dynamic range and signal/ noise. Is it audible??

(also running the PC to play audio) Comments re using SE as the ongoing crossover?

Thanks

I can not say about SE but LspCad can also emulate crossovers and has an ASIO support that works very stable at least with my Echo Layla24 for a 3 way speaker.

See www.ijdata.com

LspCad Pro in more expensive, so ...

Default I've been using SE Digitial Filter for months now

I have a dedicated PC, 1.6M P4, that is on all the time running SoundEasy. Occasionally I swap out the MT box in the 3-way for another one, then load up its crossover, but that transition is the only time SE is not running. I haven't even put the PC on its own UPS, though I should, but power outages are rare for me.

Also, I have the Delta 410 card, but as long as the card works in SE, I don't see why there would be an issue with long term usage.
