Great looking build!
By any chance do you have the option of running the 10.8 un-powered? I would think, if it is powered, it would be too bass heavy. Can you refresh my memory on the low-end roll-off of the sealed Vifa's? Do the Vifa driver any and high-pass filter on them? I like the lines on the cabinet. Are you going to stain them a different color by chance? Finally, I would be curious how the Vifa MTM compares to those nice looking SEAS MTM in the background.

zach,the vifa mtm is this
http://www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker16.html i went with actice sub for simplicty reasons.it won't be too bass heavy as the plate amp a volume controls.i can't do any comparision as i have to veneer the other speaker and am waiting for some inductors to complete the mtm. i will post my impressions and comparisions when i complete. they have one coat of pickel oak right now.brings out the grain and changes the natural color alittle.i really like the natural with the black drivers,so for now it will stay.but these may eventually go to the cottage so i may stain them a pine color. the lines stand out enought as is,so i will not be staining the lines a different color. glen |
