In everyone's opinion, which DIY book is the best. They sell alot of them at Parts Express. In terms of amount of designs, quality of designs, etc.

Hi,

Basic: Advanced Speaker Designs (for the hobbyist and technician) by Ray Alden
Intermediate: Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason
Advanced: Theory and Design of Loudspeaker Enclosures by J.E. Benson

all out detailed and advanced: Loudspeaker Anthologies (three volumes of articles/papers that were published from the Audio Engineering Society -- http://www.aes.org

In addition to construction/speaker design theory/calculations it's also very handy to have an understanding as to what's actually doing on with acoustics. The 'bible' for that info is:

"The Master Handbook of Acoustics", 3rd Edition
by F. Alton Everest
