I am building a new conference room at my office. I want to incorporate a HT setup in there... using the office LCD projector! The long and short of the data is the following:
1. Room size is 14' x 21'. The "clear of features" 14' wall is the projection area. It is ~ 8' tall. 2. Room is framed out presently. I would like to build flush mounted, in wall speakers. The speaker box can be 14-1/2" wide. I have plenty of room behind the wall for "more box". 3. I would prefer a flush center channel also. 4. Can a sub go in a ceiling using the joists as sidewalls? Unravel a Tuba sub for the ceiling??? I suspect it can but know little of HT. How about a BIB with the horn element exhausting at the floor?? How about line arrays? I have ~ 128 PE NSB's ready to go. Help me out. |

In-wall BiB's for bass, corner placed and at lateral angles seems to be a good idea. See my recent post # 6 where suitable baffle layouts with 3 - 4" NSB's that could well be built in a wall: My plans for my NSBs - feel free to make comments! More of 'NSB's' I’ve posted that also easily can be converted for in-wall use: 352 NSB drivers ordered - now what shall I do....... http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...mp=1155725809& Loudspeaker Circular Arc Line Arrays Any one else agree with Zaph? Also I'm building computer speakers. What kind of drivers do you have in your stock? b |

At least 20 NSB's I can put on this task. I am leaning towards those with the cabinet volume & port according to Thylantyr...
