Utopia drivers....6W4254 or 6W4311s?

I am looking at building some floor standers with a pair of Audiom TLR's and a pair of Utopia 27WX 11's I have......I just need to work out what 6" I should run with them.

Have been looking at the 6W4254's and the 6W4311's

Anyone had experience with these drivers? X/Over probs? sealed cabinet sizes for 2.5k to 250hz?

Also was looking at the Audiom 6W....But have heard these aren't big fans of sealed enclosures....And are picky on X/overs, Any thoughts?

Hi,

6W4311's are the closest to the 6WM.

I was going to use:

Audiom TD5
6W4311
13WX

In a floorstanding front.

Now Im unsure, and thinking about a sonus faber or a watt puppy 8 clone.

What is your design and crossover like?

I haven't designed the x/over yet as I was waiting to work out what midranges I would be running.
I will be running the 27WX's active and the 6's and TLRs passive tho.
We used to have a pair of Utopia Mezzo's in the shop....I loved the sound, so hopefully I can create something similar.
With the cabinets we have access to wookworking CNC machines....so the cabinet will be layered plates, something funky looking.

I noticed they had the mezzo forsale.

I was searching for some Bryston gear and stumbled across the web store.

I wouldn't mind the 5B ST, but not at that price.

Why are you using the 27WX isn't of the 11WX?
