Default Nuance Speakers

I have some old Nuance speakers that I bought about 10 years ago (2 front, centre and 2 rears). They were a great deal at the time, but for the past few years, as I listen to other speakers, they sound pretty poor. Has anyone undertaken a project to rebuild any nuance speakers. The boxes are solid and with new drivers and crossovers, they would make a pretty good speaker set.

Any advice?

Madisound offers crossover design services, and I am sure they would help you choose drivers for the boxes. Look for LEAP service.

What size drivers do they have? One option might be, depending on the driver size and approximate box dimensions, would be to take out the drivers and replace them with a diy kit of some kind.

Let us know what size drivers and maybe someone can give you some more advice.

Tristan

P.S I see that you're in Edmonton, it's nice that the weather's finally turned for the better eh?

Hey Viking,

What are the driver sizes? What are the internal box dimensions? What are the external baffle dimensions?
What is your budget?
