It looks to me as if the Bohlender-Graebner Neo3 and Neo8 planar transducers should be used together - the Neo8's SPL goes wonky after about 10khz, while the Neo3 works nicely up to 20khz.
For $200/2 pairs, they're not too hideously expensive, and the sound quality is supposed to be very good. Anyone have any thoughts on using these? |

I am working on manifolding the Neo 3's and then horn-loading them with ccustom-coverage waveguides. The Neo 8 is next. Just horn-loading the '8 seems to have good potential.
Linkwitz's Open Baffles seem like a good place from which to develop your ideas... |
