I've just got my hands on some no name 12 " woofers, 2"coils
The branding in the back is just written HQ 160w 8 ohms I have no qms qts qes but there is a marking that says freq 32hz Now could anyone tell me if they have seen this woofer before ? is 32 hz the tuning of box i should install them in ? or the FS ? |

Most probably, 32 Hz is the Fs. It doesn't have to be, but when cheap speakers are sold without parameters, they commonly give the "frequency range", something like 50 - 4,000 Hz or so. This "frequency range", unless accompanied by " + 3 dB" or some such, is pretty meaningless. However, the lower number usually turns out to be the Fs. Not always, but usually.
