Default Inexpensive active spekers

Has anyone built reasonably priced active bookshelf speakers?? Id like to do a small active 2way using lm3886 amps and an active xover. \But I have no idea where to start, any ideas? The amp and speakers are not a problem for me Ive built both before, but I havent done an active xover. Does anyone make active xover kits?? The only one ive found is Marchland so far. I know they make software for building passive xovers, but is there any for doing active xovers? If anyone has any ideas or advice please let me know.
thanks

could consider ? uses the LM3886 and is a good design, unlike
most active "designs" which simply implement filter functions.

If I built it I'd reflex it though.....

There are group buys for active XO boards on these forums every now and then. Perhaps you should keep an eye out for those?
