Default The Madisound Bargain Bin Speaker thread.

This is a thread that's about exactly what the title states - building speakers from Madisound's discount parts selection.

Currently, the listing includes the following. There's some other stuff, but these looked the most useful.

-Mysterious Peerless 5" poly-woofer. $10.

-SB025F9 Sinar-Baja 1" poly cone tweeter. $7.50

-Vifa AC25TG05-04 tweeter. $11.50.

-Vifa BC18SG49 7" woofer. $19.50.

-Vifa BC14SG69 5.25" woofer. $18.50

Thanks for the reference, as I didn't know anything about the Madisound bargain items. I snagged a few of the Sinar-Baja tweeters for an MTM project I'm cooking up.

Should I grab a pair? I'd like to try a 2-way TL, and don't know one tweeter from another. (Sad, neh?)

Well, the plots looked ok, and you could probably do worse for the money... Since you're thinkng of a transmission line, the most important part is the mid-woof anyway.
