Default JBL 2215 in a 4 way design

I am searching for a box for my JBL 2215 15" below 300hz for a 4 way design. but i don't have any information about this speaker (qts, qes,...). just fs 20hz. the filter for this design are active with dcx 2496.
what about SB with 160 liters ? for the rest low mid with tractrix horn (rcf L12P110K) upper mid with JBL2441 and for the high a fostex T900A.
sorry for my poor english and happy new year.

Parameters for 2215A (2215H is identical) are:

fs: 20 Hz
Re: 5,7 ohm
Qms: 5,5
Qes: 0,22
Qts: 0,212
Sd: 900 cm2
Vas: 736 l
Xmax: 4,1 mm
Le: 1 mH
Pe: 100W

SPL @ 1W 1 m: 96,2 dB

The 2215 would work well in a vented box of 90 liters tuned to about 38 Hz. Port dia 11 cm, port length 13 cm.

Good luck & happy building.

PS:
T/S parameters for most of JBL transducers is here: http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/Thi...arameters.pdf.

Hi,

I like the look of around 180L tuned to 28Hz for good in-room bass.

This will of course also be good - somewhat at the expense of power handling.

It all depends on room, amplifier, max SPL, etc.
