Rather than stand a Seas Odin MTM in the tall direction for use as a center channel, I've been toying with moving the woofers closer together (nearly touching) and moving the tweeter to one side of them so it's nearly touching both woofers. I'm not nuts about adding a midrange to make it a 3-way wtmw, and was wondering if anyone had any experience or references regarding lobing with the tweeter moved off to one side like this.
Thanks, John |

So no opinions one way or the other, eh? I plan to start cutting wood tonight and ordered parts for the crossover, so I should have a working speaker sometime next week. I'll report back on my success, but have limited ability to perform meaningful measurements so the results will be somewhat subjective.
Review and pics to follow... John |
