Something to compare to vintage Tannoy

Hi all.

I am considering my options building my new system.

I have always been a fan of vintage Tannoy loudspeakers. Notably Monitor Golds.

Amazing soundstage, clear treble and lowww bass that you feel.

I would buy a pair, however my budget doesn't stretch that far, n whats the fun?

Anyway, I was wondering what drivers that are reasonably priced could compare. Preferably not dual concentric... But are there such drivers??

what your budget was. P-Audio or 19 Sound have coax drivers that are good not to Tannoy but good and less money. Why not used or rebuilt Tannoy? Don't forget Altec 604.
