EAD Sweden markets an affordable enough descendant driver that fits. The E60HD MKII. Has larger voice coil and a traditional spider. Its wise to get a pair for future spares security and possibly more power handling. If it can also perform alike the original E.J. Jordan JX6RHD in the Aluminum Bliss speaker, that will be a win win move.

I have not heard the EAD, but do note that the Mark Audio Alpair 5.2/3 is also an evolution of the midTweeter Salas is using. I am going to use it in these WAW (they origianlly had FF85wKeN):

Somewhat simialr in shape (because of functionality), but i got the woofers closer )and quite different loading).

There is just SO much new space for exploring WAW.

In-room one meter away head on response from the right hand speaker only. As seen placed in post #29. Handheld mic quick take from the other day I visited to briefly listen. Don't know if of serious measurement value, but anyway.

Its easier to discern amplifiers traits with these speakers it seems. You have mostly consistent 200mS reverberation acoustics on the Bliss there I see, helping clarity. Unless around 60Hz which is obviously a room mode build up. Then a 40Hz suck out follows.

He should tell us the exact height. Nonetheless I surely know its a low ceiling basement.
The 60Hz room issue was also there with his BBC LS3/5A Falcon Gold Badge I once measured at the same spot. But some other details are worth examining too:

As shown below the BBC spectrogram has longer 100Hz-300Hz reverberation time than seen in the Aluminum Bliss spectrogram post #49.

Also more hot spots with the Falcon BBC. Problematic is the flare early in last octave IMHO. The Aluminum Bliss spectrogram showed a better suited HF pattern instead. Avoiding that particular brightness area.

Nice build. Great system. Congrats! If I may ask a slightly off-topic question, is that a Benchmark DAC glowing there? If so, does it live up to the hype? How do you like it? I'd love to hear your take on it, especially since you are the owner of such a diverse setup.

Thank you!yes it is a benchmark dac3 hgc,and I have no need of another dac anytime soon.it is very good sounding, neutral, transparent, musical.i also have the benchmark dac1 in another system, and I can assure you that dac3 is in another league.more analog sounding, while being very transparent.
