Advent H200: Has anyone tested it yet?

MCM is apparently closing out these speakers for $32/pair. Might be worth consider as a fun project. They are reported to be of better construction/quality than the cheapie Insignia speakers. They are apparently rebranded Heco speakers (never heard of them personally) that are sold in Europe.

There are some views of the cabinet and drivers on avsforum. The cabinet appears to be 5/8 MDF. From what I gather, the silver plastic looking baffle is apparently painted MDF. This was an immediate turn off since it looks like plastic in the photo. The woofer appears to be of decent quality (certainly for the price). It also has a neodym soft dome tweeter of unknown (probably poor) quality.

I have ordered up a couple of pairs with the expectation of doing some testing on them - and possibly improving the crossover. Aside from a full redesign of the crossover, I have no doubt that the electrolytics could at least be either replaced or bypassed.

Just curious if someone else has already explored these very cheap speakers.
