Just got it done yesterday and ran it through 3 hours of "Dead Man's Chest". Dialogue was clear, crisp, and overall, just an awsome center channel. Finished with ebony stain on wenge wood veneer. The front baffle is solid oak with MDF reinforcement, stained with 4 coats of Sedona Red. If I had to do it again, I'd hack off part of the mid and tweeter to slim off the speaker. Vented system with F3 of 51Hz in 1.1 cu ft volume, crossed at 700 and 2,800, third order. Overall 4 ohm system, with just a short dip to 2.80 ohms around 2,000Hz. My Pioneer VSX-1014 didn't complain one bit about the impedance.
Merry Christmas Everyone! Hong
