SS 18W8531 and R2904/7000

Have you any experience with ScanSpeak 18W8531 and R2904/7000 drivers?

I need narrow floorstanding speakers to use "near the wall". I'm not searching for strong bass, I prefere good mids and highs.

I'm seriously considering a kit with 2x18W8531 and 1x R2904/7000 in 30L closed box with 89dB efficency. I plan to make it floorstanding, as narrow as possible.

Have you already heard such combination?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Given what I have heard of them, and people comments on here - I would go for an Audio Technology C-Quenze mid unit instead. I might also go for the Seas Millennium tweeter since the R29 is SO expensive and apparently not a huge step up from other good tweeters considering the money. Or another tweeter to try is the RAAL 70-10 ribbon. In fact yes, that’s the tweeter I'd go for.
