I might be wrong ( it,s been known to happen before )

But i think John (Zaph) did something similar some time ago. Check the Archives at his site.

Hi,
From memory, I think in Mr Zaph's still current L12 design, he says the 27TDFC is a 'drop-in' replacement? grant

Hi, if it "drops in" one, it should "drop in" the other, /sreten.

off topic: can you explain me the term "drop-in" it occures at many pages but I can not find it in any of my dictionaries. (does it means that something is better than something else?)

problem is I can't change speakers...I have them left at home...

haven't tried yet. But i tried to switch 27TBFCG in DD8mkII for 27tffc and it wasn't good sounding. so I think this is going to be same.

Sreten, Hi, Lol, err, yes thats what I meant!
'Oops' was because I misquoted Zaph's design! ( I might just go hide in a corner, hehe)
Sorry I forget who asked, but 'drop-in' means equivalent electrically and probably the same physical mounting. grant
