Tannoy 12" DC in OB

has anyone else done anything like this?

i currently have my Tannoy DC1000 (8" DC) in the baffles that i made for the L8's, and they put out a supprising amount of bass and sound very pleasing.
going for a pair of DC316's right now and gonna plug them into the baffles.

any opinions?

(also one of the surrounds has a cut in it and lockwood audio quote me £150 for a repair as the whole cone assembly needs to be done aswell.)

does anyone know if there is a difference between the DC316 and the HPD 315A apart from the magnets? the specs seem the same and they are used in the same enclosures.
any differences in sound?

Hi,
it seems that Tannoy mimic the T/S parameters each time they update the Dual Concentric drivers.

I have no idea about the plastic drivers in your dc1000.

just got a pair of HPD 315's and going to put them into OB first then mabye a box later...
