hello,

I'm building my budget DIY Theatre room and was wondering about my subwoofer options. I though, thought, then, thought some more. I came up with this idea:
Connect receiver 1 and receiver 2 via the LFE channel output from Receiver1 through a Y cable connecting to the tape monitor inputs on Receiver2. Then connect the passive subs to the speaker outputs on Receiver2. In order for a 'true' subwoofer you need 150Hz and below to be produced. This can be done through usage of a crossover and a seperate receiver. Using the LFE channel means that I don't have to produce a low-pass filter (maybe eq and such will be added), and the amplification for my subwoofers is taken care of by Receiver2. TIA.
