Default MagnaRock Monitors

I just finished these up.

My friend asked me to build him some speakers/system for his new home. He likes classic rock and metal at live levels (on occasion) so I figured I'd use a classic rock monitor the URIE 15 coaxial as a base for the project and then add some high efficiency bass drivers to form a foundation.

I ended up using the URIE 15 (PAS 1580 with Emilar EC175 compression drivers), Fane Axiom 15 and Peavey Black Widow 18's for the bottom end. We are triamping these with kilowatts.

It rocks!

Total cost with amps, preamp, tuner, DVD player, drivers, crossover, and materials looking for deals on ebay was around $1500.00. I think he owes me a beer or two!

Ugh,

Like putting 3 persons from different backgrounds together in small room.

Sometimes harmony, sometimes not.
