I am sure the speakers will bring a fair amount of money. I am also sure that the build quality won't impress anyone here at DIYaudio

Sad story overall, about Syd. I guess the drugs took over!
Its pretty pathetic to auction the mans things like that! Not that there will be a lack of buyers, but it hurts to see a legend like Syd, deminished in that fasion!! They go like this: "At last the bugger died, lets see how much money we can make"
Makes me puke.....
