Default big vs Small inductors in loudspeakers crossovers

Given the same mH value, aside from phyisical size and DC resistance and current rating, would there be any sonic advantage using 12 gauge wire for inductors ?

There shouldn't be any audible difference using say a solid core 12Ga varnished wire....who on earth is going to have this beast of a wire by the way(Must be solid core).
12Ga. is quite impractical however as the winding would be quite huge (Soccerball size?) considering the crossover values we are dealing with.
The current capacities would be immense however.

I think there's no sonic advantage to components in the signal path of the power-amp output whatsoever....

It's just a waste of copper

Especially not in the high-power range, or for lower freqs. The smaller components needed for "pllxo" filters saves a lot on cost too!

And since amps don't cost much these days, better to go for filtering like this and multi-amp it if you'd ask me:

Just my opinions...
