Question Zaph's TMM 2.5way Waveguide

I'm considering building this setup here in the next month or 2, specifically for a highly detailed reference setup. My only concern is the Level of detail that the CA18's have. I had used a pair before in my car and was thouroughly pleased with the results i had, after takeing them out of my car and putting them into a bookshelf paired on a MADisound xover, paired with some LPG26nafm's i'm somewhat concerned if i build this setup that there won't be enough midrange detail and clarity for a refernce level setup.

Right now i'm my car i have a 3way with varying aluminum drivers, Highly detailed, and very accurate setup, prooblby the best sounding car/setup(including home)that i've ever heard. I need a reference setup that i can easily compair, adjust the setup for SQ purposes, as well as something in the house that i can listen to daily for Music/TV/Movie purposes. I have a pair of Origional Tempests going in a 7-8cf @ 16hz enclosures to be paired for the low end with them. I just really wonder if the midrange detail is truely there. I already have 1/3 of the total drivers needed, and will most likely build the perfectionist xover, because i'm realy looking for a flat response, yet articulated/detailed, sound.

Would this particular set be ideal for me, or do i need to look elseware.

BTW i have all wood/bracing available, as well as a pair of CA18rnx's already, i simply need another pair of CA18's, as well as the tweets/xover components/waveguides, to finish the parts lists up. I'm not worried about it being NOT loud enouhg, with 105-110db spl, and 75-100rms on tap @ 4ohms, its not really that important, the SQ is the remaining factor.

Anyone have review, and/or input on the design?

BTW link to my car would be......http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...9202#post59202

Final pics on page 5. Thanks
