Hi all.new to the forum.I nedd help with matching tweeter for G18RNX/P. What do you think of Morel MDT32s ? Or the Seas T25CF001 Excel? its a 2.5 way config with SS25W/8565-01....Thanks for help.Any suggestions appriciated.Danny

I don't know the Morel.
The Seas is a nice tweeter. It's quite expensive, though. You should also consider the Peerless HDS and Seas 27 series. They are better performers than the Excel, at a lower price.

Hi:
I do not know about the original system where you want to replace the original tweeter. I think you must regard the following concern: Speaker units are more difficult to replace than transistors. In high end audio, the used units are matched to their filters to get the right accoustic response. Not only in the sensitivity but also in the transfer function. When the original one is damaged, as I understand is happening in your case, the best is to get an exact replacement, I mean another original spare part. If not, you could get a very different response with another one that resembles to the original. Regards, Hugo |

Regards, Hugo Hi Hugo.Well, its not a repleacement, its a NEW PROJECT.I have done couple of other speakers, but nothing in this size or price range.Its a COPY of Avalon speakers, at least the shape...........thanks anyway.
