Which is a better 2.5 configuration a MT.5W or a TM.5W? What are the Pros&Cons of each? Also would a hybrid open baffle design be advisable, where the mid is OB and the .5 goes into a 90°PVC pipe to a T-line?

Ben,
I recommend looking at http://www.musicanddesign.com/PowerMatching.html Read the text adjacent to fig. 5. It seems that combining an omnidirectional woofer with dipole mids is the worst configuration you can do, if you want to get linear response on axis and off axis too. The other way round - combining dipole woofer with CB mids - seems much more feasable. Rudolf
