wow they are right under my nose.
they do have a big lineup but I wonder if they will entertain individual requests ? will have to wait until monday to find out unless someone knows..
would be nice to know what drivers they make for which oem.

well they have a huge selection and were quite helpful in providing specs, although specs for some speakers did not exist at all. but there is a $50 minimum - too much for one little driver. plus if they dont have it in stock the lead time could be weeks.

the best option so far seems to be the radiolabs speaker that I indicated in one of my posts above. They refuse to give the name of their source/manufacturer.

Zaph, for another application where I have a little more space I might use the Aurasound NSW2 driver you mentioned above. I know in your small-driver shootout you've said the TB W2-880 is a better driver overall and I agree but I guess I will give in to the bass extension of the Aurasound in this particular application (portable radio). Now I have to figure out how to mount it...

Hi,

Look at MCM electronics website. You might be able to use their part number 52-155. It is 2 inch x .75 deep, and cheap. The specs published say 8 ohm, 450 - 4000 Hz.
