Default Speaker Accomplishment Thanks chris & dave

Here they are people. Yes they are glued together. These are just test boxes to see how the driver sounds and reacts to being ported. So far i like it. For me tons of bass. They are ported out the bottom at the back.

NO they are not a kit from him. These drivers are far from what he would buy. They are my choice of driver and tweeter. He helped me design the box as i wanted a book shelf / low profile speaker box and it to be ported. So he designed the box i asked Chrisb to cut the wood to which he did then i glued them together.

I did make one mistake. I didn't notice till i was done. To late now, you can see that the front baffles are glued on the same it was suppose to be flipped so the tweeters are reversed. They are beta boxes so we will see what the real final version looks like.

So far they are running off a class ab amp for break in time and sound not to bad so far.

Default can't tell....

Are the drivers flush mounted? If not, it would be a very good idea to do the tweeter, failing that, a thick felt ring surrounding the tweeter flange would help reduce the edge diffraction.... edge diffraction on normal 104mm tweeter flanges is a real nasty customer.

Drivers are not flush mounted the purpose of this box right now is to test sound and to see how it act's in this enclosure.

When the final design is done i'll have the tweeter closer to the midd bass and left and right speakers will not be the same

I think on the final design also ill be rounding over the edges.
