Am I right or wrong about this ... sandcast resistors labeled
15W6R8J - means 15W, 6.8 ohm 3W4R3J - means 3W, 4.3 ohm |

Does anyone kow what the J is for?
It's probably not important but I'm curious to know.

J = 5% tolerance, K = 10% tolerance

Thanks to those that replied ... here's another question about reading a capacitor. It's marked 825K 250V. The 250V is obvious, but does the 825K mean:
8200000pf or 8.2uf, 10% tolerance Hmmmm |

Would a 6.8K100 Cap be simply 6.8pF 100Volts?
Sorry for being a bit dumb but I'm a little confused by the decimal point and want to get the correct value. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would think so. There is a slim possibility it could be 6.8nF, but pF is far more likely.
