Turbo, I have searched the net far and wide and cannot find any suppliers for these caps aka Vishay Roederstein. I have been looking for the 1837 Vishay .01 microfarad aka ERO 1830. I also spoke with a Vishay sales representative and she told me they are basically sold in high volumes and she could not get me any samples. I was told Mouser had em, but no stock. Volume minimums are high also. I thought about trying to get them to sell me a few, but with no stock I cannot cry to them yet. Have you got any other ideas? You might try ebay. I got a couple of ERO from a dude in Canada, but not exactly the ones I am looking for, but I thought I might experiment with them for the fun of it. If there is anyone out there who can help find these, please chime in..........Tony Gee, are you out there?

Damn ... was going well with Farnell until checkout, and it said "You cannot export to that country".

Omni - it looks like Farnell will work, they sell singles. They just don't export to the US. So maybe if somebody in the UK would agree to take delivery of them and forward to the US
![]() The other option is to buy the minimum 1500 of them and run a Group Buy here. |

rs components in Denmark sell these. Whether or not they will send abroad I do not know.
http://www.rscomponents.dk/electroni.../index369.html You can buy as little as 10. 6.70 Danish kroner is the equivalent of approximately 1.10 dollars. |

Turbo, dude, I read your post and my heart sunk. It still seems there may be hope to get these, but the aggravation is just another part of diy. Hopefully, when our projects are done, we will appreciate them even more................I will try what vil recommended to do, but not this minute, at any rate if worse comes to worse maybe we can hook up with someone here to help us purchase these ERO or Vishay. I see you are looking for 100 nanofarad, for what purpose? I have seen Tony Gees' site in capacitor reviews and he says he can't live without them. I am looking for the .01 microfarad he mentioned as a bypass cap for my tweeters in a 3 way Seas 27TDFC. Also curious about a larger one for my midbass in the same system..........Tony raves so much about these caps I really want to experiment. My current concept, if I cant get the ERO or Vishay is to use Clarity SA bypassed with Mundorf supreme, another one of Tony Gees'recommendations. I wonder what the Vishay aka ERO added to that would sound like.......At any rate, keep me posted, I will do the same.......Respectfully......Omni
