Some tips needed on making accordion type surrounds.
This is very much experimental and I'm not considering any time constraints. The inside diameter should be approximately 10cm, so a fairly small surround. Ideally, if the material for the surround has any "grain" direction, this should remain symmetrical throughout the circle. So far I've considered making a mold and laying out fabric or paper to press into shape, or setting up a jig and weaving the shape. I'm not sure what to use for a resin to retain the basic shape and provide flexibility. Any and all input is good. |
