I recently purchased a pair based on the recommendations of a number of people at the PartsExpress board. There's a fellow over there who has used it successfully with a 10" passive radiator in a three way system. He recommends crossing it over fairly low as there's some ugly business happening just below 1K - it could be corrected but i'm thinking that woofer's forte is low to midbass.
I'm designing a 3 way with additional subwoofer utilizing the Usher for midbass, likely to crossover around 400Hz to the midrange driver. HTH's Scott |
