Default Help choosing Xover points

Hi, I have aquired the following 3 drivers and need to determine the best xover points in order to design the 3 way Filters.

Bass: Seas CA25RE4X/DC, Midrange: Vifa: P13WH-00-08, and Tweeter: Vifa: XT25TG30-04. I have looked at their individual frequency graphsand my inexperienced knowledge would choose 500Hz and 1200Hz. ?? How does this sound to you??

Also which order Filters would be a good choice, a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Oder?? From what I have read I would go for a 2nd Oder?? because its fairly simple and has good roll off?? Again ant suggestions welcomed.

If you could post the parameters instead of us looking them up, it would be easier to help.

Try to XO at at least twice the resonant frequency. If your drivers are robust and well matched sometimes 1st order can be very pleasing. 2nd order is often chosen because it's a good compromise between overlap, power handling and number of components in your filter.

4th order is valuable when you need the power handling and the drivers don't go that well together. ie: PA gear where you're going from a 15" to a 1" or 2" compression driver.

Try to cross woof to mid between 250 and 600 hz. Mid to tweet not lower than 2500hz. Maybe 3000.
The tweeter may run flat pretty low, but it'll be excursion limited if crossed that low. This will result in high distortion and a certain death when played loud.
