sorta like writer's block I guess! looking for a spark !!

also looking for design ideas for a TB 3" + 6.5 Audax woofer.

Yeah Andy, how about a nice rectangular box?

But seriously, look no further than the CA18RNX if you want a very simple crossover and a nice efficient system. Without the waveguide, a slanted baffle would help the acoustic center issue.

From what I hear, down under you can source Monacor parts, and you may be able to find their waveguide for sale. It's just like the MCM version but doesn't need to be modified. We can't get them over here.

Hi Zaph,

interesting, I have the Monacors here, but I never seen the MCM as we can't get them in Europe, did you get the chance to test the Monacor and compare both?

sorry for OT. - but I'm just too curious

best, LC

I've seen the dimensions and they look like they have the same profile, but Monacor has no distributors in North America so I've never had the chance to test one.

I looked into shipping from a few European vendors and it was ridiculous unless I bought 50 of them to spread out the cost.
