Default Scan Speak Reference+

Am I missing something? The picture for this floorstander suggests two carbon fiber impregnated drivers, but the plans call for one carbon fiber and one kevlar 7". Did Scan Speak change their numbering on one of the drivers this kit uses or is the photo that is posted on audiocomponents.nl incorrect?

IIRC the mid is a 8546 yellow Kevlar cone unit & the bass is a 8545 paper pulp cone with those "bits" of carbon impregnated over it.
I've always wondered why they chose 8545 for bass duties when 8535 would probably have been a better choice ?

I've not seen the photo but they do one with a black kevlar cone as well as the yellow.

You've obviously never been here

Robin Hood was really associated with Sherwood forest, around 50 miles from here. I guess thats next door in Aussie travel terms.

The SS8545 has a bigger magnet and better cone damping than the 8535; tighter bass and better mid but doesn't reach quite as low. Choose your poison.
