Troels, I belive U
I suppose that 100sl have a kind of equalization or whatever in the Xo that makes SM150 go down to 400 Hz. What is the lowpass for SM150 in your speakers? What do U think about comparision of SM150 with another mids? (PHL, Focal etc, etc) Thanks and regards, Spherion

Volt driver
I´ve got a Volt driver for my bass. I use two Volt Studio Range B2508 each in a sealed 28 dm³ box. It is very fast and powerfull. The best bass driver I ever heard, also Fs is only 50 Hz. I use a 6 db activ filter with an 100 W/8ohm silid stat mono amp. Simply great! regards Günter |

You mean the one with 8mm Xmax (B2500.8)? I've been thinking about
this driver for bass but came to a conclusion that I need something BIGGER (like 12" or 15"). However, Volt drivers are really noteworthy - REL uses them, for example. Well, for my next home speakers (when I sell esl's) bass driver will be probably mounted in a sealed enclosure... ...selection of drivers is pretty wide, but I have three types: ATC SM 375 SC Volt (one of the 'Radial' series probably) and Visaton TIW360 (very cheap here in Poland for the specs) Don't know yet whetrer I'll use active correction, but if I will, I'll rather go for all-active amp/Xo circuitry Regards Spherion

(Project 10) I am putting money on the side every single month for it,,,,,, I hope to build them in a year maximum time (hopefully) They simply look like the most promising loudspeaker I have seen in a very long time. B
