Default Crossover, enclosure, simulation (dumb question I'm affraid)

I'd be interested in building a pair of speakers based on the vifa P17WJ and D26TG, in a transmission line. I found a crossover for those drivers (with very good feedback on french audio boards) here : http://audioclone.free.fr/new%20baby.gif But of course this crossover has been designed for a bass reflex enclosure ( http://audioclone.free.fr/BIG%20BABY.gif ).

Two questions :

- Can I use the crossover without change if I keep the same baffle width ?

- If I use Martin King simulation worksheets to design the TL, does the crossover modify what I've to feed into the simulator ?

Thanks for any help.

I believe you could use the same crossover. I'm don't know about the second question.

You can use the same crossover, keep driver spacings and positions the same as well though. On the second question, yes the crossover will modify what you have to feed into the simulator, the small series resistance from the woofer inductor will have an effect on Qes and Qts i believe.

Ok. I think that the newest mathcad worksheets from MJK have an option to add serie resistance. I just need to check Intertechnik datasheets for the resistance of the self then.

Thank you both
