Talking Ohmygawad and THANKS EVERYONE

I've never been one to compare commercial speakers, or listen to them in stores... the cheesehead is not exactly an audiophile.

Was just walking through my local big box electronics retailer, when I was drawn towards some really cr*ppy sound... kind of like being attracted to a bad accident.

Bloated bass, distorted treble, midrange... was there any midrange? BLOWS 301's. $250 a pair. Once I used to aspire to owning them.

I'm feeling better now, sitting in front of my Jordan Jx92 MLTL's listening to my Supertramp on vinyl. Oh, and with a gin and tonic.

A big THANK YOU to everyone here who's gotten me and others to build our own speakers!! This is one heck of a site.
