I am ready to build my dynaudio nuance containing the D260 tweeter and 17w75xl mid woofer. I have had various test enclosures based on the original Dynaudio designs, and am now ready to get out the power saw.
I built my crossover first from these plans, with Solen capacitors including point to point wiring, and using Chord Rumour 2 cable. I am less than impressed with the Solen's. They sound a little grainy and closed in to me. I have previously enjoyed auricaps with these drivers in a different configuration that sounded open and lush. Just looking for any other suggestions of good caps that people might have. PS. I know you Dynaudio nuance builders are out there! regards..Ad |

With the sudden interest in Dynaudio on this forum , anyone would think that their drivers had become available to the DIYer..........
