I have a few 1.5" soft dome fabric Polydax tweeters dating from the 60s or early 70s. They are mounted on square frames. Anyone know the frequency respose of these or have any data? I hope to use them as a low tweeter from 1 KHz up to 5 or 6 kHz. I am concerned about the response below 2 KHz. Yes I searched.
The planned arrangement, with electronic XO @ 24 dB/octive, is: Hartley 24 sub @ 100 Hz Undetermined woofer 110 - 1K The polydaxes 1K - 5K Inovacs 5K- Currently researching crossovers and tending towards a Marchand to replace my ancient Sony. This ia all motivated by my wife who wants the 20 cu ft Hartrley enclosures out of the dining room. Hopefully with summed sub I can live with one enclosure placed out of the way. |

Take I-80 across the Delaware Water Gap, leave the XYL behind -- if she really loves ya' the Hartley's will follow.
