Hi
I think that term is a reactive component primarily due to surround/compliance and relates to Vas (equal air spring). Breakup is due to mainly to cone materiels and cone rigidity/shapes. Not sure what term relates to the losses (damping) of the surround and spider.

> Cms is suspension compliance, not damping.

So suspension compliance has no relationship to damping??

> Damping has two elements; electrical (Qes) and mechanical (Qms).

Yes . .

Somewhere in their JAES Papers describes the relationship between TS parameters and minimizing break up resonances?

Thanks
