Question Need Info Acoustic Solutions AV-120

Hi All, just accquired a pair of Acoustic Solutions AV-120 speakers, they use twin 6inch Bass Mid Drivers and what l think is a soft dome tweeter. Can anybody give me any info as l would like to go from passive to active and need to know also the freq. There is a high pass capacitor on the tweeter with 335J 250V written on it. There are no other crossvover components. Any help gratefully appreciated. Mikee55

Hello,

If the 335J on the capacitor is for 3,3uF so it's give a crossover frequency of :

6000Hz if tweeter impedance is 8ohm

Default Not sure??????

Hi hugobors, I just put my analogue meter across one of the tweeters,at x 1 ohms, and the needle shot to 0 ohms. Then on a x10 setting it read 0.75ohms! Not what I expected.
Thanks.Mikee55
